Installing a non-programmable thermostat is an option for some customers. Many different types of customers just have a hard time programming the more expensive programmable thermostats. Using a single temperature setting non-programmable thermostat is the answer to many of our customers. The Honeywell Pro 3000 is an inexpensive thermostat that allows both one and two stage (not show) heating for both gas and heat pump units. The more universal Honeywell FocusPro 6000 allows for 5-2 and 5-1-1 programming and will help cut back on your energy costs by allowing lower temperatures while at night and higher temperatures during the day or while at work.
